The Goodwood is a modern interpretation of the early 1900's bungalow.

Bungalows became a design staple in virtually all areas of middle America as a result of the work of architect Charles Sumner Greene and Henry Mather Greene.

Based on the raised wooden huts he found in Bengali, turn of the century architects brought the concept to America.

Throughout the early1900's and beyond, the bungalow proved to be beautiful and functional design trend. This style can be found in virtually every major city in the country.

The Goodwood draws on the timeless lines and functional details of this style yet adapts to the needs of modern families. A large roomy kitchen and master bath belie the outward charm. An upstairs balcony is a unique twist on the style. A detached, covered "California" garage is a safer and greener alternative as well as being visually appealing.

Offered in several second floor configurations, the Goodwood is flexible enough to fit a variety of needs and lifestyles. Timelessly traditional and decided American, the Goodwood is an excellent choice for suburban, infill and rural settings.
